Ottawa, Canada.- In accordance with the mandate of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Miguel Vargas, the Institute of Higher Education in Diplomatic and Consular Training (INESDYC) held a Course-Workshop on Virtual Education Methodology and Use of the INESDYC Virtual Campus to train a group of 15 diplomatic and consular officials of the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Canada and the Dominican Consulate in Montreal.
With this training, the aforementioned officials have been enabled to be admitted to the wide range of training that, in its virtual modality, offers the INESDYC in order to keep our foreign service updated and specialized.
This training was taught by the engineer Rafael Marté, Virtual Education Specialist and Head of the Virtual Education Project of INESDYC.
The closing ceremony was chaired by the Dean of INESDYC, Ambassador Manuel Morales Lama and the Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to Canada, Pedro Vergés Ciman.
During the ceremony, Ambassador Verges Ciman expressed his satisfaction with the fact that this diplomatic mission was chosen by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Miguel Vargas for this important project.
Also, Ambassador Morales Lama said he was pleased with the level of performance achieved by the participants in the course, and stated that this initiative will promote efficiency on the work of the diplomatic and consular officials of the Dominican Republic.
